Come to your local forest preserve to read and explore on a special hike where the story unfolds as you walk.

Every month this fall there will be a new picture book trail in a different location of Busse Woods. This program is done in partnership with the Forest Preserves District of Cook County.

Our October Trail Tales is located in Busse Woods and begins near the first parking lot of the Busse Lake Beisner Road Access (view web map).

Please check for updates on our Youth Services at EGVPL Facebook page in case of inclement weather.

Nature Explorers will be located in Busse Woods and co-led with staff from the Forest Preserves of Cook County. More information will be sent once registered.

Each class requires a separate registration.

Registration is limited to Elk Grove Village Public Library cardholders. If space is available, non-cardholders may register 3 days prior to the start of the event.
