A Zoo to You is bringing a petting zoo to our library! In-person/phone registration begins June 1 and is required. See complete details on our website calendar page.
Interact with over 20 of our favorite farmyard friends at the petting zoo located in our parking lot: goats, sheep, chickens, ducks, a bunny, a donkey, a llama or alpaca, and a small cow! Feed will be provided.
In-person or phone registration begins at 9:00am on Tuesday, June 1st and is required. This event is limited to EGVPL cardholders. Non-EGVPL cardholders may register the day before the event if space permits. Please have your card number ready when registering. You will register for a 15-minute time slot between 10:00am and 3:45pm. Each time slot is limited to 15 people. Registration is limited to your immediate family members: children with their parent or caregiver only. We will need the name of each family member who plans to attend. Masks worn over the nose and mouth are required for ages 2 and older.
On the day of the event, please be on time for your assigned slot. If you arrive late, your time in the petting zoo may be cut short or you may not be able to participate, depending on how late you arrive and the number of people scheduled for the next time slot. Attendance will be taken by Youth Services library staff at the petting zoo entrance in the parking lot.
In the case of extreme inclement weather, the event will take place on a future date to be determined.
