Come along on a virtual safari with Page Turner Animal Adventures! This eight week program will feature a different theme each week. Videos, once posted, will be available through September 7th.
Comedy storybook theater, guest performers, virtual field trips, author visits, puppets, crafts, recipes, and games will be part of the fun! The events and activities are geared towards Grades K-3 but many are great for all ages. Videos will be posted closer to the date. You can watch them any day of the week. We are just posting them on Fridays to avoid overfilling the calendar.

SHOW DAY: Felix the Flea wants to join a Flea Circus. When his emotions get the best of him, Page and Kenny decide to put on an actual circus to show him the ropes. They’re joined by some special guests including a real jumping spider, the owner and star of Circus Kirkus, and Jonathan Lee Iverson…Ringling Bros. and Barnum Baily’s last Ringmaster!
AUTHOR DAY: Candace Fleming is the acclaimed author of more than forty books for children and young adults, including this year’s Sibert Medal Award Winning Book, Honeybee: The Busy Life of Apis Mellifera. Her book, Cubs in the Tub: The True Story of the Bronx Zoo's First Woman Zookeeper, is also featured. Honeybee: The Busy Life of Apis Mellifera and Cubs in the Tub: The True Story of the Bronx Zoo's First Woman Zookeeper are available at our library.

GUEST DAY: An internationally known storyteller, performer and teaching artist, Bobby Norfolk is a three-time Emmy Award winner, multiple Parents’ Choice Gold and Silver Award winner, and a National Storytelling Network Oracle Award recipient. Bobby will thrill you with tales of that famous trickster, Ananse.
