Read to the Dog

Grades 2-8

An opportunity for kids to read in a positive, non-threatening environment that encourages the love of reading by partnering with a therapy dog.

Required registration for EGVPL cardholders starts Friday, February 20, 9am. Once registration opens, click on the Register tab, you will then be taken to an event calendar. Tab forward to the month you wish to register for. Available dates will be indicated with a blue dot. Participants will sign up for a timed session, and are limited to 15 minutes per reader, with sessions offered at 6:30, 6:45, 7, and 7:15 pm.

Participants may only sign up for 2 reading sessions during dates offered. 

Parents/caregivers are not allowed in the room. If space is available, non-cardholders may register 3 days prior to the start of the event.
