Celebrate Earth Month and National Parks Week with an inspiring local story, "Walking Chicago’s Coast: A 63-Mile Journey to the Indiana Dunes"! Join Michael McColly as he recounts his 63-mile walk from Rogers Park to Indiana Dunes National Park, sharing the experiences, history, and insights gathered along Chicago’s ever-changing shoreline.

Through vivid storytelling and stunning photography, he explores the beauty of Lake Michigan, the city’s evolving landscape, and the environmental challenges facing our region. McColly, an award-winning writer whose work has appeared in The New York Times, Boston Review, and The Sun, offers a fascinating look at the two remarkable parks that bookend this unforgettable journey.
