There’s more to the story at EGVPL – and YOU are a big part of the story.

Throughout the month of April – in honor of National Library Week (April 23-29)

There’s more to the story at EGVPL – and YOU are a big part of the story. What brings you to the library? How has the library impacted your life? Are you a reader? A crafter? A student? Or do you simply like to be at the library? Tell us your story and we’ll include it in our collection of Stories from the Library. Share your story your way: write it, draw it, or record it (video or audio). All who submit a story will receive a special gift for participating and a chance to win a gift card.

Submissions will be accepted and displayed all month and can be dropped off at the Reference Desk or emailed to jpajor@egvpl.org. Digital files should be in the PDF, JPEG, PNG, GIF, MP3, or MP4 formats, or links to videos on YouTube or other video-based platforms. Need help creating a digital file? Drop-in at the AV Recording Studio for help on Friday, April 7, 14 or 21 from 2-4 p.m. for expert help. No appointment required.

For adults – high school and older.

Please contact Adult Services for more information at 847-439-0447 x271.
