Chess Scholars is returning to teach chess to beginners. Please read the class description to verify you are signing up for the appropriate level:

Beginners: No previous chess knowledge is necessary.

Advanced: A basic knowledge of piece movements is recommended. Students will learn about controlling the center, taking the initiative, and attacking in combination.

Required registration is limited to EGVPL cardholders and begins Friday, September 22, 9am. If space is available, non-cardholders may register 3 days prior to the start of the event.
