Tour one of Chicago's iconic neighborhoods as we visit the Ukrainian Village.

Tour one of Chicago's iconic neighborhoods as we visit the Ukrainian Village. Enjoy a guided tour of this Old-World neighborhood, which will fascinate you with its beautiful churches, shops, and restaurants. The Ukrainian National Museum features an amazing collection of folk art: costumes, musical instruments, artwork, and the famous decorated Easter eggs that are a staple of Ukrainian folk art. Afterward, visit one of the neighborhood's majestic European-style churches. For lunch, we will travel a short distance to downtown Chicago for a spectacular meal at the Ukrainian-owned Russian Tea Time Restaurant in an elegant and intimate atmosphere. 

 

Lunch Menu: 

Your choice of one of the following:

~Stuffed Cabbage Golubtsi Cabbage roll stuffed with a filling of ground beef, chicken, carrots, and sautéed onions. Simmered in tomato sauce. Served with         buckwheat kasha and carrot salad 

 ~Blinchiki Combination Stuffed with cabbage and ground beef, sautéed in butter, served over greens and drizzled with a pesto basil cream 

 ~Chicken Kebab Shashlik Chicken breast marinated then grilled to perfection. Served with brown rice, fresh onions and Tashkent carrot salad


Served with:  Cup of Ukrainian Borscht Sweet and sour soup of beef, beets, cabbage, carrots, potatoes and tomatoes
